Never sailed Penamenmawr before and John said better in forecast NW to gave it a go. Very choppy and occasionally hard to get started in light winds but good once up as some underlying rollers. No progress on gybes but good tips from Roger, just hard to break windsurfing muscle memory. Pleased with pumping in rough water, maybe board helps.
